• Account Data: Email, name, and profile photos provided via Google or direct signup.
• Academic Content: Study notes, text snippets, and document scans (PDFs/Images) you upload for Vision OCR processing.
• Interaction Logs: Your conversations with the AI Tutor and your performance on MCQs and Revision Sets.
• Usage Data: Anonymous technical data including browser type, time spent on tools, and session metadata.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to provide a personalized study experience:

• AI Processing: To generate summaries, Q&A guides, and tutor responses. Your data is sent to our AI providers (like Google Gemini) for processing but is not used to train their public models.
• The Vault: To store your study materials securely for your future retrieval.
• Progress Tracking: To generate performance analytics and mastery heatmaps.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with essential infrastructure providers:

• Firebase: For database storage and authentication.
• Google AI: For processing academic queries and high-fidelity document OCR.
• Razorpay: For processing payments securely.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. Your Student Vault features an optional secondary password layer for enhanced privacy of your archived academic materials.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account and all associated vault data at any time through the Student Profile menu.
